European peacock butterfly, Aglais io, filling all 12 megapixels of my pocket camera. Let me get real close.
While I'm waiting impatiently for my new wildlife camera/lens to arrive I'm having to use my Panasonic GX9 travel camera for everything, so this isn't the sharpest image. Of all the butterflies listed as common in my part of Scotland, the Comma is the one I see least often, so this was a lovely surprise this morning.

Enjoying things in life is survival. One cannot survive by merely wallowing in despair. There is no such thing as a red state, only government imposed boundaries which create an area where maybe at best only 49.9% of people wish for true freedom for all. But that's still hundreds of millions of people. The rich man's media will never cover what is going on in the same way that State media will never cover the truth. Find joy & cultivate community.
