I keep seeing memes like America is 1930s Germany. No, America is America. Slavery, Jim Crow, Japanese Internment, Operation W*t Back, and what's happening now are all American as apple pie. We don't have to look elsewhere for f*scism it's always been here

but it's not just the 1% —

institutions of racism, bribed politicians, the laws & army/police that protect them, the 'upwardly mobile' wanting their slice, the fear of further loss, the scapegoating & hatred it foments…

oversimplified, yes…

but this system is designed so the oppressed must struggle/fight to merely exist
