Signature Sounds, for me, has had its best success, in recent times, with veteran acts. Examples include Eilen Jewell, Brennen Leigh, and Chris Smither. So, the fresh faced Blue Summit may mark a nod or even a return to the early days of Signature Sounds.</p><p>"Hillside," the teaser track available now at Bandcamp, is really encouraging. After the knowing and very pretty soloing on the verses, the density of the harmony on the chorus took me by surprise. I definitely like it.
