Christine Perfect, Christine McVie. Bluesy music hero of our times. Wow.

I didn’t realise, these tunes and that voice blend so smoothly and insinuate themselves effortlessly. Even for some of us who didn’t think that bluesy love songs would carve those deep blue ripples. Remarkable.

🌊 I’d Rather Go Blind
🌊 You Make Loving Fun
🌊 Don’t Stop
🌊 Songbird
🌊 Hold me
🌊 Tell me lies

She, Buckingham and the others musically intertwined into eternity.

Hamba Gahle.

If like many you are playlisting #ChristineMcVie here are some Fleetwood Mac songs she is known for:

RIP Christine McVie

She was pretty much everyone’s favorite member of Fleetwood Mac, she was often the eldest member of the group and whose songs have fortified the band from the 70s through the 90s. And she’s one of my all time favorite pop songwriters. Hell, Chicken Shack wouldn’t be the same without her.

“Why” is my favorite McVie song, the closer on 1973’s Mystery To Me. #FleetwoodMac #ChristineMcVie #ChristinePerfect
