Do you prefer dark mode or light mode?
I'm not saying it's *because* of dark mode obsession, but one can't deny the simple math that 2 "themes" means more time should be spent on testing, which won't be the case, which in turn means lower quality of light mode.
Am I the only one having issues with dark mode in #Firefox since version 140 or 141?
Both on Linux and Android, it seems that it does not properly pass the prefersDark information anymore...
On Linux I solved it by activating the dark theme instead of the follow system theme option, but on android this does not even seem to work...

@MsDropbear42@blahaj.zone Am still persisting, & have mostly acclimatised myself to this new visual paradigm. It remains true, though, that this Nightly 
option certainly is murderous to poor old #uBO #uBlockOrigin. For those unsure what i mean, the attached pic might help.
My workaround, clunky as it is, is that when i'm on all my usual bookmarked sites, for which i already long ago finessed the necessary uBO dynamic filters, i don't even need to look at the dropdown... but when on a new site, when i certainly do need it [given my global defaults are block everything], i need to temporarily disable Nightly's Custom option for Contrast Control, finesse uBO, then re-enable CCC. The benefit of all this is i get away with needing to use one less AddOn.
I could do this all day...
We revamped our site with a new layout and our most requested feature, Dark Mode!
Giving this yet another try:about:preferences#general -- Contrast Control -- Custom...
...in lieu of my hitherto AddOn #DarkReader .
Its biggest weaknesses atm remain
- an inability to add specific websites to an exception list
- it indiscriminately applies itself also to the GUI of important AddOns like #uBlockOrigin, part of whose functionality is rendered impossible with this setting activated

:EA DATA. SF: LibreOffice, how can you screw up Dark Mode so badly? Searching online, this has been a problem for at least two years and none of the fixes offered work for me other than "don't use Dark Mode" which is dumb.

I really want to like LibreOffice, but this is not helping.
The actual real fix would be to have a Dark Mode theme that sets the colors appropriately but the theme gallery doesn't see to have one of those. This https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/99302 ain't it.

I’ve switched my phone (#iPhone 14 Pro) to a permanent #DarkMode to test if the battery will last longer. It should, because it’s #OLED.
Up to this point I’ve been switching to it automatically on sunset and I was fine with how it looks.
Tried to do the same for an #iPadPro (also OLED), but desktop-like stuff just doesn’t cut for me. For some mysterious reason I hate bigger screen all-dark websites the most. It just doesn’t look pleasant to the eye…

, WAS I added a theme toggle to my site. It should respect the system settings unless toggled. Otherwise should be respect whatever was last set.
I'm glad I figured out variable colors becaues all this took was two line changes for :root colors and the script to toggle it.
Still some alignmenty weirdess on mobile to figure out but it looks pretty neat.
