A modern competitor to #OperaMini with:
Why?
OFC since #Opera #Mini needs a trustworthy proxy backend any "#clone" would need an #OpenSource'd & #SelfHosting-capable #backend (similar to @ActionRetro 's #FrogFind .com as it breaks #E2EE.
Needless to say it would be a godsent for anyone stuck on #EDGEland and slower speeds (i.e. #SATCOM like #Iridium)...
Caso alguém não saiba, para deixar todos os sites automaticamente no modo escuro, independentemente de já os ter visitado antes:
1) Clique no ícone da extensão;
I think #DarkReader is my new favourite browser extension. It turns every website into dark mode, while still keeping everything legible: https://darkreader.org/
i dont want the damn thing to be dark.
WTF.
I removed that stupid #DarkReader thing (Darh Vader whatever)
There's a good study for you #Firefox developers.
make it easy for someone with brain damage to get it to sync w/ the stuff we already know we want, and not to inherit some kind of styling nonsense like this.
@hexaitos nein, ich vermeide #CSS hacks jenseits von #DarkReader...
@masukomi @homelessjun @ashleyspencer @actuallyautistic +9001%
Without #DarkReader and self-tinting glasses I couldn't do jack shite...

@neil @mcdanlj that being said the nice part of #DarkReader is that it can do way more than just "inverse" the colour palette...
@SleepyCatten I usually set #Firefox as #DarkMode and then use #DarkReader on top of it.
about:settings
and about:config
pages too...I use #DarkReader for that reason alone!
@mcdanlj @neil I have the exact opposite effect.
Conclusion: Websites should have a simple toggle/button to switch to customize it.
Longterm solution: Generate a "Public Cookie" that tells Websites which version (bright/dark) one prefers.
Workaround: #DarkReader can also be configured to force #BrightMode instead of #DarkMode onto a Website...
@alexadeswift @georgetakei but only if one uses #DarkMode and has an extension like #DarkReader to "darkify" websites...
@noflcl isn't there an option to like import said settings in the profile subdirectory under $HOME/.firefox/$PROFILE/addons/uBlockOrigin/
?
Cuz that's how I sync #DarkReader settings across #Linux systems...
