Giving this yet another try:

...in lieu of my hitherto AddOn #DarkReader .

Its biggest weaknesses atm remain
- an inability to add specific websites to an exception list
- it indiscriminately applies itself also to the GUI of important AddOns like #uBlockOrigin, part of whose functionality is rendered impossible with this setting activated

Is there a lightweight #DarkMode add-on for #Firefox on #Android / #IronFox? #DarkReader way too bloaty and slows everything down, I absolutely advise against using it. Tried Dark Night mode but its configuration window won't open most of the time.

• Agregué lanzadores a la barra de tareas, uno de mis favoritos es el de #LibreOffice Impress cuyo icono personalicé, basado en un ViewMaster, como parte de mi tema de iconos Historietosos.

Been using #KDE Okular as my default pdf reader on #Linux, and just worked out that there's a setting that allows you to specify dark and light colours, meaning you can read pdfs in #DarkMode. No more having to put sunglasses on to read manuals! And you can assign it to a keyboard shortcut, so I've set it to the same as #DarkReader in #LibreWolf.
I love it when Linux Just Works.

Earlier this arvo i read https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1iex998/dark_mode_extension_and_how_much_data_they_hog/. For years i've known of many redditors complaining about #DarkReader badly slowing down their , so curious, i decided to disable my DR, install #UltimaDark, then copy & paste my DR site Exclusions list into it. So far all seems to be going well.

@ColetteDiskette I use #NoScript & #DarkReader to stop that nonsense...

A modern competitor to #OperaMini with:

• (optional) better #compression,
• (optional) #TUI / #TextBrowsing mode
• choice between different #proxies
• native #Tor, #IPFS & #Proxy Support
• Supporting #Android & #Linux
• Excellent #privacy features (only #allowlisted #Cookies and #JavaScript are being accepted!)
• Native #DarkReader-style integration to darkify or otherwise customize the output of the screen (i.e. print Amber / Green on black or Black on White for #eInk displays
• Can be used not just with a #touchscreen but also #Keypad and arrow keys.

Why?

• Because there needs to be more #competition that isn't yet another #Chromium-#Fork
• that is a good middle-ground between #Lynx and @torproject / #TorBrowser,
• Because @mozillaofficial / #Mozilla is fucking up #Firefox big time by wasting #money on anything but it as their core product...

OFC since #Opera #Mini needs a trustworthy proxy backend any "#clone" would need an #OpenSource'd & #SelfHosting-capable #backend (similar to @ActionRetro 's #FrogFind .com as it breaks #E2EE.

• Otherwise making the Browser just lie by not loading any #Multimedia contents like #images unless clicked may be another option chosen if one doesn't have a #Server to act as said #CompressionProxy / #PerformanceProxy in return...

Needless to say it would be a godsent for anyone stuck on #EDGEland and slower speeds (i.e. #SATCOM like #Iridium)...

• Sadly building a #browser is thousandsfold harder than building a Linux #distro...

Caso alguém não saiba, para deixar todos os sites automaticamente no modo escuro, independentemente de já os ter visitado antes:

1) Clique no ícone da extensão;
2) Clique na aba "Lista de Sites", com a opção "Inverter LIstados" marcada e insira um asterisco "*" (sem as aspas) numa linha em branco.

Caso queira deixar exceções, basta ir em "Lista de Sites", marcar "Não inverter listados" e informar as URLs.

Não encontrei essa informação de forma explícita na documentação e estava incomodando ter que ativar isso a cada novo site visitado.
