Christian AlvarezThe first photo is a dish of Pupusas a Salvadorian (also enjoyed in Honduras) which apparently is considered a flatbread, although in terms of texture and taste, it's closer to a tortilla. I had always considered it to just be a stuffed tortilla lol. I grew up eating these, and it's been YEARS since I've eaten them, and the one in The Port of Call in Mystic, CT, tastes just like the ones I had as a child. <br> <br> Second photo was monkfish, but I don’t remember exactly what else came on it. The monkfish alone was delicious, the best way I can describe the flavor is it having a very mild and ever so lightly sweet taste, it did not taste fishy at all, it just had a very clean and wholesome flavor. <br> <br> Third photo is a dish of empanadas, also very delicious and highly recommended. <br> <br> Fourth photo was some kind of bread pudding? I wish I had jotted down what it was exactly, but I do remember it tasting very good! <br> <br> Fifth photo, a nice tall glass of a Lager by New England Brewing Company. <br> <br> Sixth photo, a cocktail. Do I know what it is? Thanks Mr. Palazzi!<br> <br> *infuse the vodka with a white truffle for a month, then forget it in the freezer till the end of summer! In a cafe and the wife just asked for a dark chocolate ice blend drink.

They didn't know what she was wanting but offered a hot chocolate ice blend. They made it by pouring the cold syrup into the ice before blending.

The person behind the counter didn't understand my question about how it could be hot after being blended with ice.
