Writing Tip:
Choosing a memorable name for a pub can leave a lasting impression on readers, and also hint at some sort of local folklore or history.

There are no celestial bodies here, so whatever that is, it's closer than it appears.

SO MANY IDEAS NOW WAIT:
Baker Magic: The reason their baked goods are so popular is that, with just a whisper or a thought, they can imbue whatever batter or dough they have with their intention. Anything from poison or explosions to healing or regeneration. Plus, the only reason they're able to keep up with the mess is that anywhere that is considered their home, they are able to telepathically make brooms, dishes, or anything else inanimate do what they need it to.
Blacksmith Magic: You think they get callouses from their line of work? Wrong. Iron skin. Plus, either trial and error or natural selection led them to have some level of control over fire. Not creating it, perhaps, but they can vary the heat and size of the flames, allowing them to perfect their craft.
Farmer Magic: Contrary to popular belief, Farmers can't just make crops grow. That's ridiculous. They just know inherently how to summon the fae that do. And anyway, they can hear the plants, feel the life emanating from them and sense what they need to thrive.
Construction Worker Magic: There seems to be an uncanny silent ability for the workers to communicate, but its really just telepathy. They are able to bond mentally with people at will, allowing them to share thoughts or intentions nentally, thus meaning they can work much faster than normally would be possible. And if they seem to brush off bigger stuff, broken bones and the like, it's just because they've developed a healing Magic that allows them to recover themselves. To a limited extent, of course.

In #WhereTheyLurk, the magic system is crystal-based. The crystals hold magical energy, and you can deplete them of that energy completely.
The colours of the crystals does have them lean towards certain magic types, but it is not always clear.

New creature! This is a Leafscuttler. They look like leaves from above, in order to fool predators. They spend most of their lives on land, and will dig into the sand to hide.
They are essentially a mix of a horseshoe crab, green crab, and lobster. Like a horseshoe crab, they have blue blood.

Today I roughed out a map of the valley that Eloailsa village is in.
I hope to redo it after I practice map-making more, but this will at least help with writing.
The tree assets were made by AoA. https://payhip.com/AoA
I made my assets using Clip Studio Paint (free alternative is #Krita) and put it all together in a map using #Wonderdraft.

I haven’t named these creatures yet, but they are the main livestock for Eloailsa.
They are used for plowing soil, milk, and they are even sheared for the wool in summer. The wool is the primary fibre source for the village.
They are not fast runners, so if their young is threatened, adults form a circle of defence. Their large and rotating ears help warn them of danger.

I came across this #worldbuilding project on #youtube called the Eternal Ruins. The artsyle looks unique and it seems the world has a lot of potential.
It doesn’t have many videos yet, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. Have a look if it seems interesting.
the latest update of the Encyclopaedia Elyden is live and this brings the wordcount up to 1,200,000 words, which is a new milestone!

Day 24: "Are there magic powers in your World?"
Oh yeah. Most wildlife and some livestock have some kind of psychic power. Almost all people have a little psychic something-or-other.
The land and sea and sky of the Worlds are all inherently magical.
The Stars impart celestial magic and wisdom upon those who pray to them. Darker forces whisper temptation to those who seek power.
