I'm using the F-droid latest version of fedilab app. In conjonction with Sunup for the push notifications.
I'm running android 11 on a Redmi Note 8t device.
A I am wondering if I need to grant notifications for both the applications or if I can can just grant fedilab?
#Fediplan dev is over. We are submitting it to #Fdroid.
We included a way to edit your scheduled messages (kind of trick like delete and rewrite).
We also took care of adding accessibility labels on each action button.
We will see with #Weblate to open a translation project (https://codeberg.org/tom79/FediplanApp/src/branch/main/src/localization/strings/en.js)
Now, we are back to #Fedilab

I love @Tusky for general fediversing around, but @apps has totally become my favorite pixelfed client.

This is strange. If I post a photo with #Fedilab, enter a volume of alt text, and then... See the "too lazy to enter alt text" icon in the corner of the image later when I go back to check the post later.
It's fine in #Tusky or on the web, but not in the client I entered it in.
So strange.
A couple times today, I thought my alt text hadn't saved.
I was used to using underscores for italics in #markdown, but find that this server ignores those and prefers asterisks. One adapts. (Yet bold can be done with double skids, not solely double stars.)
I used backquotes to show some code from an EPUB file in a recent post. On the web interface of this #Glitch server, it worked as expected, showing the snippet in monospace with a colored background. But when viewed in #FediLab, my Android client, the snippet was snipped away, showing nothing.
Do I have any way to know what gets out into the world intact, what has formatting removed, or what simply gets deleted entirely?
Even if we could rewrite #Fedilab for being supported on Android and iOS devices, we will keep actively maintaining the dedicated Android version.
A such rewrite would have bad side effects. We might not be able to go so deeper in features and older devices won't be able to run the app.
Hallo @jotOO@troet.cafe
