New #torch: Olight I3T 2 EOS Mini — because if I can't carry less stuff, perhaps I can at least carry smaller and lighter I just might have use for.
Mostly perfectly fine, but I think it's 100–200 lumen max output is too much for such a small battery.

I have to buy a new #flashlight and because #LEDs are so powerful and require a smaller form factor and less space for batteries most of what I see are small and compact BUT I like a #workshop flashlight with some #heft to it and I know it's just #psychological. Am I #weird or just a #boomer.

The posts going around with various "go bag" ideas have the right idea but I'd throw in this - when buying batteries to go with your torch (flashlight) get ones with a long shelf life. Lithium chemistry AAs can have a 20 year shelf life, and CR123s (different chemistry according to the internet) can go 10.

(on flashlights I'd recommend having at least a pair, one that takes a generally easy to come by cell size like AA, and a good high capacity rechargeable. I am very normal about flashlights)
