Unicode is utterly ubiquitous, you aught to understand it! Runemaster lets you browse the character set in all it's glory, and find out more about any letter or symbol. If you need to identify some text, paste it in the scratchpad, and see the name, code and origin of each component character. With everything sorted into groups, and related entries clear to see, Runemaster helps a bunch!

I just updated my #EndeavourOS system (and Flatpaks), and #Kdenlive (running the same #Flatpak version) can be launched again! No idea what fixed it but I'm OVER THE MOON I could use this wonderful app again.

Sakurajima Social (桜島SNS）Mika (@irfan)I still couldn't launch #KDE's #Kdenlive without the app crashing right after the loading menu disappears, for months now. Specifically the #Flatpak, not sure about the native Arch package. This is pretty annoying cos I loved Kdenlive and used it quite a bit. Someone reported the issue, and I added to it, but it was closed soon after for not having enough information. I love KDE but their bug reporting tool is pretty freaking annoying, I'm a lot more responsive and helpful if it's on #GitHub or at the very least, #GitLab - I understand tho that a project/team as big as theirs could not effectively rely on these (for bug reports). The Flatpak works fine on my wife's PC, just not mine somehow despite it being fine all this while. Don't really know the underlying cause of it to identify any workarounds or fixes. 🔗 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499483

The quality of modern software, AKA the #Flatpak generation.

1. I bump a package in #Gentoo in the morning.
2. When I get home, the package doesn't install anymore — it turns out that upstream removed it before Gentoo mirrors managed to fetch it.
3. I remove the new version from Gentoo, only to discover that the previous version was removed as well, at some point — silently, with no trace.

Jakość nowoczesnego oprogramowania, czyli generacja #Flatpak.

1. Rano wrzucam nową wersję paczki do #Gentoo.
2. Po powrocie okazuje się, że nowej wersji nie idzie zainstalować, bo autor ją wywalił, zanim nasze serwery lustrzane ją złapały.
3. Usuwam więc nową wersję z Gentoo, i odkrywam, że poprzednią wersję też kiedyś usunięto — cichaczem, bez jakiegokolwiek śladu.

Okay, I admit my ineptitude. Can someone explain to me what I should do to update the version of my app on flathub as if I were a 5-year-old child? I'm looking at my flathub fork, I know it has to be done with a PR from somewhere to somewhere. The app's manifest (which has already been properly updated) has been on the my-app-submision branch of my fork since the app was added to flathub. Should I do a my-app-submision PR for flathub master? For flathub new-pr? Some other place to some other place? The documentation talks about master and beta and nothing else.
