For creating an outline with the drop shadow filter in #GIMP, use those settings. The #outline width is adjustable with the “Grow radius” setting, and the corner style can be changed with the “Grow shape” setting.

#GIMP3 was in development for 7 years, and they somehow managed to put the outline for a text on the inside of the text when using the outline setting of the text tool.

Top text shows what #GIMP developers think an outline should look like. Bottom text shows how an outline actually should look like – manually created by adding a drop shadow filter.

Am I the only one who thinks that this is a crazy oversight?

Meine Freundin hat mich inspiriert.
Sie hat eine Schreibtischunterlage mit einer klaren Plastikfolie, die man anheben kann und darunter hat sie eine Collage ihrer Lieblingsdinge gelegt. Ob das lustige Fuchsbilder, Antifa Sticker oder die Karten vom letzten Musical sind, es ist eine Collage ihres Lebens.

Ich habe jetzt das Selbe auf meinem Desktop begonnen.
Ich habe mir GIMP installiert und ein neues Projekt angelegt. Darin habe ich ein großes Wallpaper als Hintergrund und eine durchsichtige Ebene mit einem leichten Kratzeffekt als "Deckblatt" angelegt.
Zwischen diese beiden Ebenen habe ich angefangen digitale Sticker meiner aktuellen Lieblingsspiele, lustige Sprüche und Bilder meiner Liebsten als neue Ebenen anzuordnen.
Das Ergebnis speichere ich einmal als XCF, um es später erweitern zu können und einmal als Wallpaper.png.
Die PNG Datei habe ich als Desktop Hintergrund gesetzt.
