If that’s his humour, trust me, I shall spare
No kind of pains to win admittance there:
I’ll bribe his porter; if denied to-day,
I’ll not desist, but try some other way:
I’ll watch occasions — linger in his suite,
Waylay, salute, huzzah him through the street.
Nothing of consequence beneath the sun
Without great labour ever yet was done.
[Haud mihi dero:
muneribus servos corrumpam; non, hodie si
exclusus fuero, desistam; tempora quaeram,
occurram in triviis, deducam. Nil sine magno
vita labore dedit mortalibus.]

Our Federal Civil Servants are hardworking Americans keeping bombs off airplanes, getting grandparents Social Security checks, directing air traffic, providing free tax help, and more. They deserve our respect and gratitude, not Elon Musk's chainsaw.
Mild success can be explainable by skills and labor. Wild success is attributable to variance.

I definitely over did it today, but I was determined to finish. I am drenched in sweat and my POTS is mad at me. I'm going to take a long soak in a bubble bath.

Newsletter time! This month, what I would tell myself in 2005–2009 if I had a time machine—work harder! Because it would have paid such great dividends if I had.

No exercise bike today. I ran errands and I woke up 2 hours earlier than usual. I just don't have it in me today, and that's fine. I'm going to do my workout tomorrow because I'm going out to eat and I'd like to work some of it off. Also my goal was to exercise 4-5 times a week. When I exercise tomorrow that'll be the 4th day of the week meaning I will meet my goal! I'm proud of myself for being consistent.
Day 5
50 minutes 49 seconds
12.1 miles
292.4 calories burned
1 mile every 4.1 minutes
I'm quite proud of myself. This was the hardest day so far and I was definitely overheating but I did it!
Day 3, 40 minutes accomplished! I learned a few things today. One, I'm looking for a good cushion for my seat. Two, this is much easier than I expected. Three, I need to get a headband to keep the sweat out of my hair.
I'm quite proud of myself today. I worried all weekend I wouldn't be able to do 40 minutes, but I did it!
It is not enough to tell me you worked hard to get your gold. So does the Devil work hard.
