AI6YR Ben<p>Oooh, does anyone have some adversarial images that could be printed onto fabric I can sew into a vest or jacket? </p><p>Apparently you can develop patterns which confuse the image recognition nets (classifiers) to think that a sticker or pattern is something else. 🔏 Matthias Wiesmann<p>I just noticed an object recognition feature in Apple's photo app. Basically, it detects plants and animals and attempts to identify them. Raziman<p><a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/MyPaperInAToot" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MyPaperInAToot</span></a> </p><p>Modern <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/lasers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>lasers</span></a> come in various shapes and sizes, far from the high-school picture of a gain medium between two mirrors. We fabricate a spider web-shaped semiconductor laser, smaller than the width of a human hair. It can output light at different colours, and is very sensitive to pumping parts of the network. Such lasers are promising for integration in photonic chips. parvXtl<p>Was trying to find what the low resolution <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/flag" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>flag</span></a> with green, orange, white stripes (with something in possibly-red) reminds me of.
