Monsters have babies too.<br>
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.<br>

Monster in a Teacup<br>
Humans aren't the only ones who enjoy a spot of tea now and again. Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness. Alas, some of these tiny creatures may become so enamored with the tea, that they sip themselves silly and fall into a state of euphoria, causing all manner of behavior.<br>

Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness. This sleepy creature drank a bit too much sweet jasmine tea and found it hard to stay awake. Shhhhhh...<br>

As another day ends and darkness falls,<br>
worries begin to grow. The monsters realize they<br>
are now far away from their homes and entering<br>
a world that no one has ever been before.<br>

Anxious whispers and tearful sobs burst out.<br>
"Beware! Beware! one monster pleads.<br>
There is danger ahead!" But no one has stopped<br>
for sleep this night. The leaders keep them<br>
marching, marching, towards a distant light.<br>

Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip or two of freshly brewed sweetness. Monsters have babies too.<br>
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.<br>
