With this shawl, I'm now about 5 repeats into the border, using the second to last ball of yarn. It's still pretty slow-going!

Here you can see how the new border patterning starting to take shape. Do you like it?
Kanarie update! I started with the armhole increases!
Gothic Flamingo is a shallow, triangle scarf, knit sideways. My version is knit in an aran weight yarn, but it's wonderfully suited to be worked in other yarn weights

StarStrong was so sweet to test knit my latest design: Blauwe Branding. She used various colors of @Knitpicks Stroll fingering weight yarn. The border is a bit less deep than mine, because of yarn restraints. No matter, it’s really gorgeous as it is!

With this project, I’m making progress. Here, you can see how the piece looks after one full repeat of the patterning
#FlashbackThursday Mustard and Slate is the shawl to knit when you just don’t want to choose… Simple or lace? Gray or Oker? You can really have it all!

The new stitch pattern that I worked out for the border requires a different number of stitches. So, I knit a couple of more rows to get the stitch count up to the new number. Ready to start the new patterning!
Another rep of the patterning has been worked, but it isn't going very fast. There are now 261 stitches per row, that's quite a lot of knitting!
It turns out that the patterning I chose for the border is particularly hard to fit into the asymmetrical shape of this shawl. So, frogging and back to the drawing board.... to be continued!
Update on Kanarie: I corrected my grading spreadsheet and cast on again. Onwards!
As you can see, with my Zaanse Mosterd shawl, there has been some more progress. Once blocked, it will be so pretty!
I've measured the now dry shoulder piece and determined that there are indeed some significant changes needed....
#FlashbackThursday Duizendknoop is a shallow, triangle scarf, knit sideways. It features a simple garter stitch body, and a lovely triangle edging. A lovely and airy layering piece!

I have started the border patterning! I did find some issues in my chart for the second set of 8 rows in the repeat. But, I expect that it won't be very eventful to fix
Here, there are 4 more rows to knit before starting the border. Almost there! I'm happy that here I was in the correct ballpark with my estimate of 50 g yarn in the body
I can make the border in this section of the pi-shawl pretty deep. We'll have to see how far the amount of yarn will bring me!
It seems I will indeed have to redo my grading spreadsheet, draft pattern, and knitting. But, better to act on this now, than to end up with a sweater that does not fit as intended. To be continued!
