So, the end of #Destiny2 #Lightfall is finally here. It's been a long, strange trip, for sure. I know it got really bad for a while, with people dissatisfied by the campaign/storyline experience, the lack of challenge in Root of Nightmares, and the lack of PvP attention so severe, Bungie formed a dedicated task force and promised people all kinds of shiny stuff just for toughing it out. I thought it was... okay. I don't PvP, so aside from the more-or-less official death of Gambit, that only affects my empathy. As far as stretching things goes, Season of the Wish and Into the Light did pretty well, I think. I wasn't ever displeased with the story; I think they dragged it out too much, and wove too many elements into the seasonal storylines. And now, it's all over but the waiting, as The Final Shape draws near.
