@bethsawin

Great to read about these ripples coming in.
I myself have been spreading the word about your book and #multisolving for some time and was wondering if you/your distributor could see the incoming ripples in the form of slowly increasing flow of "books sold per month in Germany" (and if you have a CLD of it).

Currently I am using this ⬇️, when I'm recommending taking a look into #multisolving and/or your book.

Prepping the report for tomorrow's drop-in session and really loving how this is coming together.

"One Million Neighbours is a bottom-up vision for the future, built by 100 participants from 62 organizations in a series of roundtable discussions. We identified common priorities and built future scenarios based on the concept of #multisolving: finding solutions with co-benefits for multiple areas at the same time, while advancing equity."

Big inspo from @bethsawin on the multisolving framing!

Last but definitely not least: for those who are #multisolving - acting at intersections of equity, climate, health, biodiversity, water & more- well I hope you feel recognized & celebrated, and I hope this gives you kick ass new citation for your next grant proposal!

Oh, this is thought-provoking. "What if we replaced GDP with statistics about girls on bikes?" thenational.scot/politics/2413

Amanda Burgauer: "There's a lot of data in that one question about safety, equality of girls and boys, and physical activity. And so this is not what you get when you measure GDP. You wouldn't be looking at those qualities at all.... GDP would simply ask: How much did her bike cost."

Another reason for #multisolving - when you push one lever in a system but the rest of the system isn't connected to or ready for the change its less effective than when the whole system is wired up, with good communication, trusting relationships, and a whole systems view.
