One of our students left his lesson today with a new steel string acoustic guitar!
The guitar was given to us as a donation. It is in great condition and just needed some new strings, which instructor Devin Ulibarri helped put on after the lesson.

I'd like to get into music sampling to put together silly songs like this one. Does anyone have suggestions on how I would start? I have an old Mac with Garage Band but I've never used it.
My dream of getting an Apple Vision Pro and using it to fill my office with 37" displays for my Mac is dead. The headset can only create a single remote 4K display from MacOS. (Or some nonsense with the same number of pixels split across screens).
It's just as well. I didn't have $3,500 to spend on that toy. I need that $3,500 for #MusicLessons, #BassGuitar s, and #3DPrinter s.
SimplyPiano and SimplyGuitar have been a revelation! After a couple of weeks I'm playing Leonard Cohen on the piano and Ed Sheeran on the guitar. Just amazing
