I like that somebody is addressing the US processed food situation, but why does everything have to be a threat w/ them?

And is RFK Jr. basically the FDA now? All by himself, he tells all food manufacturers to remove all food dyes from their products by a certain time— or else.

Why not incentivize the behavior he wants, both from food manufacturers & consumers? And perhaps HHS could run a healthy eating program if the #Trump admin doesn’t fire too many employees first.

#Musk acts like people are numbers he can throw around as he pleases— kick them off the job and order them back again (notice it wasn’t even a job offer— it read like an order to report back to work like they’re in the military or something).

Depending on the person situation, they could just say no and not come back to work.

Nevertheless, #Trump called her out by name in his speech last night—

‘“… and we know she was involved… a woman named Stacey Abrams,” he said. “Have you ever heard of her?”’

(My take: It is fascinating that he called #Abrams out by name. More power to her.)

Okay, so all these tax cuts and the full expensing of manufacturing, etc. will cost the #USA a lot of money. (And #Trump keeps talking about how he will bring down the deficit (but really hasn’t mentioned the debt in this segment) and said once in this speech that his admin will balance the budget).

He now seems to be bragging about Taiwanese companies coming to the US (even though Biden did that).

@Mattias_G Oh one more thing : I played on my phone not on my laptop and the texte is sometimes a bit small to be easily selectable. Maybe a "touch -> highlight the element (still possible to move and select another one) -> release to validate" mecanic could make things easier for small device.

@kallekn Trump sees all politics in raw power terms. Despite its remarkable resilience against Russian invasion, Ukraine is not a strong country. There’s also Trump’s personal vendetta against Ze, but I think it’s Trump’s notion of “raw power” that guides him here. #MyTwoCents
