My mission...
My mission is to create a free, fair, and abundant society where individuals live authentically, heal, and thrive. I promote equity, radical freedom, self-mastery, and neutrality—envisioning a world where survival is guaranteed, work is meaningful, and trade is simplified and sustainable. In this society, morals are personal, not imposed, and communities are built on shared resources, not shared values.

Andrew Martin Fairbairn, Scottish Congregationalist, looks at impact of Christianity upon the world. It’s created armies of teachers, reformers, philanthropists. Brung emancipation, hospitals, peace and justice.
Wait, you might say, you know professed Christians who can fairly said to be opponents of every one of these. I say you have not contradicted Fairbairn.
How can you bring moral changes to the world?
My work centers around making helpful meanings out of experience by learning to drop experience and instead figure out what the story is I'm telling myself that's causing me pain.
Using combinations of #philosophy ,#spirituality #duality #neutrality #nihilism and others, I challenge societal norms, beliefs, and expectations, while allowing the experience to show me what I need to heal within myself.
Robert Abela: 'Ukraine is not going to win this war'
Abela said the government believes in the importance of close relations with United States Tangerine Tyrant<- I could not be less shocked than a country which doesn't pay much attention to the rule of law, takes forever to bring the case on murdered journalist Daphne Caruana-Galizia, and has worse press freedom than Hungary, should want to align itself with the tyrant!
Ultimately, even if you want to ignore all morality, if we don't defend the rules-based order - whether with Ukraine or Palestine - we are shooting ourselves in the foot.
It is exactly this rules-based order (despite all the contradictions which exist within it) which allows smaller countries like Ireland to thrive independently instead of being constantly bullied and attacked by larger and more powerful countries.
We need to support Ukraine as much as we can. As a neutral country, we can do so much to help their refugees as they flee a brutal invasion. As a neutral country, we can push for a fair diplomacy which recognises the clear distinction between the aggressor and the defender. As a neutral country, we can lobby our allies to do more.
Currently, our tax haven allows Russian oligarchs to fund the war - look up S 110 entities: https://www.rte.ie/news/business/2022/0601/1302481-russian-sec-110-firms-raised-118bn-here-committee-told/
I actually feel such disgust watching this. The US is an embarrassment and their leaders' absolute stupidity is endangering the lives and livelihoods of millions of Europeans, especially Ukrainians and those in Poland and the Baltics.
@a_sator This seems like a good reason to consider alternate approaches to just throwing money at European militaries. Our Kreisky government demonstrated an excellent example of such leadership. They fully embraced #neutrality and figured out how to make that an effective defense policy. This also would apply on the European level. We don't need to drum up war plans against China and Russia. We wouldn't defeat them anyway. We can accept that, and make better policy for all involved.
I swore to never be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim; silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.
