These seem really cool, and I've read that they feel like you're actually writing on paper. I have a convertible laptop and I've found that writing on it is difficult because there's no friction between the stylus and the screen.
For me, the deal breaker on the #Remarkable2 is that you can't search on the device (or the cloud) for what you've written. That doesn't make it any better than a big notebook.

I think the arguments made in favour of #HTML in this November 2016 Adam Hyde post in the context of book production platforms also apply to #notes production and management software, primarily because I feel a local #website is the best way to create and manage notes (as I hinted earlier).

We need copyleft software that will make it simple for the average user.

(“How to Take Smart Notes” by Sönke Ahrens)
Got a very basic GPX exporter working to start to visualise the gps data. Had to write it on my iPad
It turns out a 15 mile hike generated a 6.2 MB CSV file, it seems I’m getting several GPS samples per-second from iOS.
It seems a bit messy, so the next exporter will need to clean it up a bit, and reduce the number of samples too. There are “accuracy” values for each metric so that’ll be fun to explore.

My previous comment was half in jest, but...
If someone wants to truly "own their full data" as #HTML, and also keep the "rich markup" parts accessible long-term without porting to a #notes app, they can consider adapting for themselves the approach discussed in this link.

I understand this is technical and not easy to adapt for note-taking.
AFAIK, there isn't a ready-to-use #FOSS solution around.

Annotation #5. [Love]
Love is not a mere feeling, nor a simple emotion. It has nothing to do with marriage, nor is it limited to a couple. And of course, it is not about any exchange. Love is not sought, nor is it found. Love is not something that is given to you.
Love is illumination. It is connection—the connection that enables the evolutionary process of consciousness. Love is the preservation of life. Love is born from me to you, and it knows no fear; it does not allow suffering; nor does it conceive doubt. Love is creation. It is an invention, if you will. In fact, there is no greater invention than the manifestation of love in each and every one of its forms.
To feel Love is to be conscious…
conscious of helping,
of not interfering,
conscious of letting go,
of sharing, of relieving.
To feel Love is to expect nothing,
to desire nothing,
nothing, ever, from anyone.
To feel Love is to expand,
to nourish my Soul.
