Nocturnal post box, and the last splash of colour in the dusk skies
Wife's off invigilating exams this week and she's just sent me this photo of the latest Postbox Topper near the school. The writing on the flag reads "Topper Knitters Tea Break. New Topper To Follow."

Valentine's pillar box topper
Appropriately enough this was photographed on Valentine's Day. It was in Hotham Road.

Wife has just remembered she took a photo of the latest post box topper near her parents' house today. This one celebrates the recent Chinese New Year with a dragon at the centre passing on the flag to the snake in front, we guess.
Hats for post boxes... and more. This is brilliant! I wonder if they're also responsible for the ones in nearby Prestatyn?
This is the Poetry Postbox in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens. It was created by Julia Smith and was installed in 2007. The idea was you wrote poetry and posted in the the box. I don't think it's still checked and the associated website is no longer active. The post box itself is based on a Victorian Penfold Pillarbox created by the architect J.W. Penfold in 1866. Incidently, this is why Danger Mouse's sidekick was called Penfold!
A George V post box on Park Circus in the West End of Glagsow, surrounded by a beech hedge.
On a different subject, this is what’s on the #postbox in my mum’s village.
