Here my #Presentation in English
I am demian, a #nonbinary, #communist, #disabled person and the ongoing eugenics campaign of rampant #COVID transmission has changed every fiber of my being.
Regarding my ideology, I became a radical feminist at 13, fighting against transphobia in the name of feminism. Then, I started learning communist and anarchist theory when I was 15, initially out of interest in the explanation of patriarchal oppression. My first radicalized readings were Kollontai, which led me to Lenin, and from there to Stalin. Historical and dialectical materialism was one of the things that caught my attention most about communism, and it still deeply excites me to put it into practice and conduct analysis using this method.
In my activism, my greatest presence and learning has been in housing defense spaces. Since 2023, I’ve been focusing on radical translations in general, and specifically on anti-ableism.
Aside from Crohn’s, I have other autoimmune diseases like endometriosis, arthritis, and psoriasis. All of them lead me to experience extreme pain. I am immunocompromised, chronically ill, disabled, non-binary, and I have psychological issues both from the trauma of pain and violence, as well as the isolation that comes with being disabled during an ongoing pandemic where it has been decided that our lives are disposable. I also take medications that further compromise me. I’ve had two symptomatic COVID infections, one in early 2022 (when I wasn't on immunosuppressive medication) and another in May 2024. The latter has left me with lingering effects like pulsations, dizziness, memory loss, mental fatigue, stomach pain, and continuous nausea.
