One of the interesting aspects of this worldbuilding project has been developing a symbology for Lashunta culture: things like the Sun (protection, purity), the Moon (transformation, absolution), Milk-Trees (fertility, bounty), basically anything that could be assembled into a Lashunta version of a tarot deck.

The thousand-arm figure keeps drawing me, especially with the implications for the psychic magic Lashunta so famously wield. Does it symbolize power? Yes. But more significantly, potential, and the self-mastery that stems from unlocking the mind's hidden reserves.

The difference is subtle but important. Whereas arcane magicians among the Elves & Humans wish to gain mastery over the world's forces, psychics wish mastery over themselves.
The question becomes: if we have mastered ourselves, what need have we of the world?
