Doubts…

...so many doubts... ...and they don't seem to make any sense... For those that have been following my ramblings on this site for a while... You know that I have a surgery upcoming in a bit. Those folks will probably also know that I am eager to get it done with, but I am not eager for the surgery and recovery time, as those are always hard on me. I guess surgeries are never fun, and recovery is always a challenge and hard. But I was just hoping that I'd have several more years in between the last surgery and this one... Giving up…

...is such a hard decision... I don't like giving up, especially when I know that it's not the easy solution that it seems to be. So many worries…

...too many to handle? Sometimes everything just all happens at the same time. It can be so overwhelming. It will affect you in such a big way, and it can seem impossible to deal with it... At least, that's how I'm feeling right now... As I write this, mum will have her surgery tomorrow. I will have mine in 64 days, if all goes as planned. My health is struggling, as my peri-menopause is getting stronger, and my hip is getting harder to deal with... Survival mode?

Some days are good enough. I get my chores done, I get some relaxing in, maybe even some gaming. But, so many days, when the nightly routine is over, when daylight is coming in, when there is this "whole day" ahead of me... I find it hard to make it through those hours. It's like I need to force myself to keep going. Because if I make it to bedtime, then the night routine will begin soon again, which I love the most... Don't get me wrong though. I'm super grateful when I can chat with lovely friends when we're gaming. I love it when we can walk with N&B. I enjoy meeting up with other friends and having a good time. Time running out…

...is our friendship coming to an end soon? Content warning ⚠️ this post will discuss end of life for a loved pet. It's hard to write for me, so I guess it may also be hard to read... Everyone that knows my blog knows that my big love is furry, has four legs, and a greying snout... It's Arwen, my chocolate brown Labrador. She was born on July 15th 2013, so as I write this, she's almost 11 and 10 months. But the last few days, she has been struggling more... So I've been emotional as hell, and I'm sure I'll stay that way for some time more. So much is happening, and my hormones are out of whack as well, so yeah... Sob fest at times... 😭 […]
