Good grief, time just seems to go faster and faster! I can't believe it's already been another week already! And I ended up in Mississippi again over the weekend, too. Ugh. There's a good chance that'll be a recurring thing over the next month or two. Maybe not every week, but at least once or twice a month. Aggravating, but it is what it is.

Anyway, at least I got a little writing done. Hope you all are enjoying this more light-hearted episode of MHO so far! The species swap shenanigan has definitely been fun to write about. And so have the cute, playful moments between Lykou and Kuna. Rest assured, there's still plenty more of the latter to come even after they're back to normal, hehe.

And yeah, because of the trip, I yet again didn't get any drawing done, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to make up for that sometime this week. Also trying to take care of my physical health a bit more in hopes that it'll help with my mental health. These afternoon anxiety spikes that seem to be getting worse and more frequent have to stop. And I suspect the caffeine and alcohol haven't been helping with that, so I'm still trying to ease off both. Hopefully I'll get around to getting a bike like I planned for this spring, so I can get around that way when the weather's nice.

That said, it's definitely not the weather for it now! Man, that's a heck of an arctic blast hitting the country. Temps are continuing to drop here. I think the low tonight is supposed to be like 8 (F). Of course, we've still yet to get all the snow they've been glooming and dooming about the last couple days. We've got a very light dusting, but that's it so far. Over the last couple of days, they kept upping the forecast, from 1 inch, to 2, to 3, and last I saw yesterday afternoon, they said possibly as much as 4 inches. But now I'm starting to suspect they were full of shit, as they all too often are these days. Wish they'd quit over-predicting shit. I guess there's still the rest of the day to go, and maybe it's just getting here slower than they expected. But it wouldn't surprise me if they massively overestimated as they all too often do anymore. Damn this heat island and its propensity for diverting precipitation around us... :/

Ah well. Still a cold, grey, wintery day. Good for sitting inside all cozy in comfy clothes while enjoying hot beverages and doing some creative stuff. :D

Drawing is just hard no matter how good you get. There's always a struggle and that's kinda what makes it fun. It's an everchanging struggle. At one point the struggle might be proportions or anatomy, at a later date eyes and hair. Then you decide your noses need to be better so that becomes the next struggle. In a sense, drawing and art is a perfect Zen practice to just let the bad feelings wash over you and keep on trucking out of pure spite and yearning to create and learn. Because, well, there's always more to learn :blobfoxcomfysip:
