Trying really hard to finish more art WIPs. Here's a preview of my dingo OC's story villain. The evil doctor himself, Dr. Scoundrel Swine!
cool, inkscape has a bitmap tracing tool that you can use to convert a line drawing into vector graphics!

Affinity Designer Tutorial - Minimal Landscapes using Gradients
youtu.be/8pyXnZ0RFSA
This video is based on the Affinity Designer - hands-on Facebook group beginner's challenge. I will show you how to quickly create minimal landscapes using gradient fills, silhouettes, strokes, and Gaussian blurs.
Enjoy!
A little art style experiment I did. Not sure how to feel about it though (it isn't my usual style), but I felt like it was worth to share anyway
Rascal the Dingo himself, with his updated design!

I haven't stopped drawing! Here's a WIP I'm working on currently, It's Rascal's updated design!
We have a new person doing the Inkscape challenges this month and I was wondering if you guys would throw them a bit of attention for their first one? Draw a boat using #inkscape

"I Was a Software Developer..." #Webnovel Chapter 12 #WIP 3
An unshaded vector drawing of Valencia standing behind a holographic but hard light waterfall and cliff. The waterfall, rocks and cliff were modeled in #Blender3D like the rest of the background, and I tried to make them look like hard light projections by giving their materials light colors, Emission, and white grease pencil outlines. I’ve been trying to use the Grease Pencil tool more since it’s so versatile!
In the sketch, Piper will take to the stage in a supporting role playing live music. Most #Sketches I draw aren’t fully detailed since they’re references and I’ll vector over them for the final drawings, but I spent hours on this one.
I challenged myself a lot on this, getting the pose and camera angle right for the reference model, drawing a dramatic angled shot and trying to draw the guitar without the angle being off by too much.
The strings were tedious to draw and I’ll need to correct the angle of the guitar and unevenness of the strings when I vector this drawing, but this was a nice challenge to try.
A bit hyped for the release of PixiEditor 2.0 this wednesday
I can't find the full feature list, but it's supposed to go beyond pixel art and be an all purpose 2D image editor. It's even going to do vector design, which I don't need because Inkscape, but it's intriguing.
Operating Superstars - 2 more character articles and a #Worldbuilding update
Lately I’ve been drafting chapters 12 and 13 of “I Was a Software Developer…” and started an illustration, but moved towards finishing my drafts for Piroska’s and Valencia’s articles for the project #Wiki. Both of them will need to be updated again after each of the next chapters are published.
Piroska: https://operatingsuperstars.miraheze.org/wiki/Piroska_Lewandoska
Valencia: https://operatingsuperstars.miraheze.org/wiki/Valencia_Lewandoska
Piroska was Valencia’s mentor in the Programmable Darling Patrol and like many of the former PrDP members, her modern design is based on Space Age fashion. The 1970's PDP-11 models looked the coolest IMO so her design is based on them the most.
Valencia’s isn’t and instead is based on nautical fashion, but she still has some of the other fashion elements associated with her former team. They were two of the most influential members of this team, and in modern times they still have roles in hobbyist movements but Valencia also does a lot of mission-critical work since OpenVMS is still widely used for it.
Writing Valencia’s article led me to consider whether there might be a skillset in the setting based on high-availability computing and safety-critical systems so the article was updated with what I considered:
