AmeliaOverall, I'm pretty disappointed by this album. I took issue with the extreme use of autotune on Jamie's album Bittersweet, but I was hopeful with their recent work that she would've worked that out for this new album. She did not. I wish this album was fully vsynth and vocaloid. I even like her voice, even just a little autotune is a vibe, but not to the degree it's used. I had two not previously released standouts, Liaison and Breeze Blows, and I don't even know how much I like those yet. But, even so, it's rare that any album has songs as fucking good as Machine Love and I Wish That I Could Fall. So, that is certainly something. It's on a separate level from the rest of the album which says a good bit when the other top songs are quite good too. I love robot themes and the humanization of the feelings of them. And it just - sounds so good. The MV is fucking awesome for what it is too. Sunny Day Tomorrow: I didn't expect for the artist who made "Seeyalater Stratocaster" to be on this album! Maybe if I knew more about them I would've, but I don't, lol. It sticks out in this album and isn't really comparable to anything else on the album but not in a bad way. It's very similar to their work on the album of their own I mentioned, and that sound is some great shit, so. Tell Me: I actually like most of this song! But I hate the section that goes "Te-te-tell me what to do" which repeats maybe three times throughout the song... Language of the Lost: I thought this had a good base but it doesn't really take it anywhere, and I disliked what it does do with it's tone shift in the last 30 seconds - minute. Wildcard: This kinda sounds like vtuber music (derogatory).
