@bkm I like this. A lot.
@bkm
Yeah, this is the first thing that popped into my head.
5 sheckles says they don't specify language.
@bkm @obot50549535 we don’t have to guess; the law specifies precisely the language it must be in, on the end of page 1 and the top of page 2. We don’t have to guess.

I can take Venmo, shall we call it $1.33USD?
@bkm This is really funny and yet ugh!
@bkm Also, which exact version of the commandments? Even in the KJV they show up slightly differently ordered and worded in a couple of places in the OT.
*gets popcorn, watches Christian infighting*
@davidaugust @bkm Who determined which of the variants would be chosen, and why is it translated into English instead of in the original Hebrew?
@davidaugust @bkm It's going to be interesting, watching different plaintiffs bring suits requiring, for instance, the Four Pillars of Islam or the tenets of the Satanic Temple to be likewise recognized and posted in classrooms. The wording of the First Amendment strongly suggests (and other Supreme Courts have ruled) that you can't privilege one set of religious beliefs over another in a secular classroom.
If it did, it would probably say it needs to be in "the original King James Version".
It most likely says the Trump Bible version which conveniently omits the ones he's broken.
@tstrike78 @bkm we don’t have to guess; the law specifies precisely the language it must be in, on the end of page 1 and the top of page 2. We don’t have to guess.
