Been planning around the current US situation for months at least. Our holiday this year could have gone to the US - it was on the shortlist - but we removed it because of that.
I had a few unsolicited job offers from the USA, 20 years ago.
I declined because of guns, healthcare (even though the jobs came with insurance) and American culture of white nationalism.
