@jblue @gougoudoggo my Japanese class is on break for a week but by next Friday I’ll be back to feeling like I don’t even understand English.
@studiofox @gougoudoggo@nattois.life i’ve lived in a lot of foreign countries for years, and people had a hard time understanding me speaking their language as well as in English because I have a southern accent. And then I moved to the UK and I got the same bewildered expressions. 
I’m good at mimicking accents, but my friends and classmates told me not to because they said my accent sounded really cool.
@jblue @gougoudoggo The first situation is: When asked, "Why are you doing this?" the person may answer, "I have no specific intentions of doing this."
@Midori_Aoyagi @gougoudoggo@nattois.life and if the person keeps inquiring, this might be an appropriate response 
@jblue @gougoudoggo number 2 is a bit concerning... I thought my old German class phrase was useless enough "My the polar bear looks cool sitting on the ice"(at the zoo)
@cohanf @gougoudoggo@nattois.life I think it comes from a manga series or video game but I’m not sure. Did all the grammar guides disappear for you when you they updated to the new format?
