Turn up the volume!
Found these two river otters on a hike the other day. I got loads of short videos but this one has one of the otters make noises like a squeezy toy.

@jblue Awesome! Love this! Otters were my dad's favorite animal.
If you don't mind me asking, where was this?
@delve great dismal swamp, the southern end has the most animals and plant diversity. The northern end is mostly hunting ground and there is a lot of trash on the trails.
We get the otters occasionally at my house but they are very skittish of people. This was on a hiking trail and they didn’t seem bothered.
@jblue Ohhh! The GDS! What an amazing place. A damn shame what they've done to it.
Btw, do you use iNaturalist? You should def upload this observation to iNat if you do use it and haven't uploaded it yet. Or if you don't use iNat, sign up and upload it!
@delve I post plants on iNaturalist when I go on hikes but not the pics I post here bc I like to keep my privacy.

haha, I do the same thing, I dunno what I was thinking suggesting that.
@delve no worries. My theatre/music work almost always is political so I try to be careful about privacy.
