White sapote, Casimiroa edulis “Suebelle” flowering now.
This variety can bloom multiple times a year and can flower/fruit in a pot to bring inside when temperatures are below freezing.
Also not a water hog.
@dandylover1 I have black sapote. It only looks like chocolate pudding. It tastes a little metallic with berry and watermelon flavor. It has a cloying jelly like consistency.
White sapote tastes more like creme brûlée with banana, pear and vanilla.
