**HOW TO RESIST**
Printable flyers to download and distribute. Scroll down for all.
I created these bc I keep seeing the question, “what can I do?“ The advice was compiled from articles by Robert Reich and others. They include links to more info and resources.
First one fits in your wallet. It includes a link to Robert Reich’s substack for further context.
Import the image 12x into a word processor. (Remove page margins if necessary.)
Below is an example of how to format it in a word processor. It is in landscape mode but it can also be done in portrait.
If you do not like Smokey the Bear, the second image has no bear graphic.
**How to shield communities from authoritarian violence**
The next three flyers go together.
The “Mutual Aid” flyer’s link describes how to achieve goals in the “Stop Ice” flyer’s link and the the “Warm Lines” has essential resources.
I suggest they be formatted side by side and folded like a brochure. (See last pic.)
Here is a website where you can order free red cards and/or print copies from a template.
These are small and can fit in your wallet. The holder of the card gives it to ICE/police to assert their rights.
The first two images go together side by side. The info was compiled from maketheroadny.org and ACLU. It describes what to do if you are approached by ICE on the street.
This is in Spanish. Scroll down to next slide for English.
Third pic is formatting suggestion for printing to save paper/ink.
These flyers describe the right to record. The first is in Spanish, the next in English. Info was compiled from the maketheroadny.org meme and ACLU website.
To save paper/ink, the images can be formatted to a page 4 times and still be legible.
This flyer is what to do if ICE comes to your place of work.
To save paper/ink, the image can be formatted 4x into a single page and still be legible.
The first image is in Spanish, the next English.
**Resist with your wallet**
Small flyers that fit in your wallet for easy distribution.
To make the flyer, save the first image and import into a word processor. It can legibly print 24x (ex. 2nd pic)
Goodsuniteus.com lists campaign contributions by companies, stores and brands.
Buycott allows you to scan barcodes in store in case you are limited by store options.
I guess this is from the group Alt National Park Service? I wish they were here on Mastodon!
@FallsMom no, I made it compiled from info from RR’s substack plus info and suggestions from other users on Bluesky.
The Smokey bear is a stock image I pulled from a meme-generator website.
Here is the color version for a meme.
I switched RR’s suggestion of indivisible for mobilize.us bc mobilize includes indivisible events plus others. Mobilize is a bit better for finding political action events if you’re not in a major metropolitan area.
Good job! Sorry to mis-credit the work you did!
@FallsMom no worries, I’ve been working on this for a week and a half and getting feedback from people on Bluesky.
This was the original meme (before I made a grey-scale flyer.

unroll
@cdarwin here's the unrolled thread: https://mastoreader.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fc.im%2F%40cdarwin%2F114021337656503059
Next time, kindly set the visibility to 'Mentioned people only' and mention only me (@mastoreaderio). This ensures we avoid spamming others' timelines and threads unless you intend for others to see the unrolled thread link as well.
Thank you!
@jblue Thank you for these. Appreciate it. I want to stick these all over the place!
@jblue
I'm planning on giving away some books; I'll paste this inside the back covers. You can paste it inside lots of other items you plan to donate, too.
@Nazani this is so awesome! I love this idea
