@jeffowski how does this achieve anything except pissing people off?
Please don’t do things like this.
@rachel -- LMAO...
Protests always piss off the people that are OK with the status quo.
And I see that it pisses you off enough to comment.
I wonder why? Probably because the status quo worked really well for you and gives you the lifestyle you want. You've completely disregarded all the people that are fighting for change where the status quo is untenable.
Clutch your pearls and ignore doing anything that will disrupt the status quo somewhere else.
The rest of us are changing the world.
@jeffowski you wonder why? Mainly because I sometimes have to use bathrooms in the Bible Belt and I don’t want people in there pissed off at trans people right when I need to pee.
It puts me at greater risk.
That’s why.
@jeffowski yes, protest is important. But put some thought into where and when.
In this case, seeing the message stuck on the wall will inevitably make some women feel less safe, even if there is no reason to.
That can then create a situation that makes the next trans woman to use the bathroom _actually_ less safe
@rachel -- LMAO...
You and your privilege protects you so much...
White people from Europe that do tours on motorcycles show me how much privilege you have.
Like I said... clutch your pearls somewhere else.
@jeffowski hmm - you post something concerning an underprivileged group of people and your response to feedback about that post from a person in that underprivileged group is to tell them to go away because they are privileged?
@rachel -- WHITE makes you privileged, no matter what other "underprivileged" groups you belong to. It totally influences your total outlook on things way beyond being a Trans-Woman. You being here and continuing to do your "Pearl Clutching" is also proof of that.
"Tone police" your own shit and bugger off already.
