Yes and no.
There is sufficient evidence that people can be persuaded with propaganda despite the fact that their core didn't start out racist, or misogynist. It was kind of blank, a non issue until their info sources start to rewire the brain. It is a minority that automatically and constantly question everything and take the time to fact check three ways.

If they only befriend one MAGA supporter and do what Davis does, being a friend and help them out of their racism and misogyny the 250 year long experiment continues.
Authoritarians need a support structure, Without it their ambition goes nowhere.
Democracy only works with common understanding, which is what Harris conceding + her speech to fight for democracy with peaceful and lawful means is all about.
