@jeffowski Well, just becasue one has good genes doesn't make them less likely to die from pandemics. And it doesn't mean you can be stupid and reckless with your health.

@jeffowski

I think it's Kropotkine on the second picture, not Darwin as explain in the alt text.

@jeffowski Also, those so called laws of nature doesn't apply the same way in humans because we created civilization and society, which in turn, turned as another nature for us, and we did it, precisely, for not having to comply with cruel natural laws, so anyone defending capitalism as "natural" in that aspect, I treat them as savages.

@jeffowski First photograph is Kropotkine not Darwin. Second photograph IS Darwin

@jeffowski Actually, it's more complicated. Try "The Evolution of Cooperation" by Robert Axelrod. See also the Hawk Dove game (Hawk and Dove are names for strategies used by individuals of the same species). TL;DR: cooperative behaviour has evolved to be contingent on the circumstances, and the stable state has a mix of different strategies in the population. Beyond that, it's *really* messy. But any practical plan has to deal with it.

@jeffowski I didn't know, Darwin thought farming is the pinnacle of evolution...
