If people were smart as some are, they would have been selling when, Pelosi, Buffett, Bezos and many others sold. I would only make money whether the markets go up or down. There's plenty that do just that every day whether it's only $75-500+ or 1,500 quid or 150,000 rupees or baht or ¥225,000.
To be honest, I don't think it will have an effect on the mentality.

@pete @jeffowski I heard a simple guy at work say trump will bring the jobs back but it's going to be rough for a while but if he just sticks with the tariffs it will work out because the Chinese are so rich. That's too much stupid to deal with on my break.

I feel like it is very wishful to imagine that a huge % of the MAGAs will start to think or change. Until they do- and can prove it through action- I believe that we should collectively assume that they will not ever start to think, and act accordingly.
@Rural_Canadian @jeffowski We don't need the die-hard MAGAs to change their mind: there aren't enough of them to make an impact. We need the middle-of-the-road'ers and people who don't follow politics (i.e. the people who complained about eggs prices during the election) to feel the pain and get angry.
Those are the people who aren't heavily invested in a "team", and they don't want to suffer for a cause they don't believe in.
