We live in a city, and wild brown #rats who visit my flowerbed never cause any issues, other than nibbling on a few herbs I grow. lol Rats are harmless for the most part. And, yes, lovable and curious, and playful.
We have a birthControl bait box (the box is white) to peacefully coexist, and it’s been working.
