Three years ago today, I had bilateral bunion surgery. I have run 3,968 miles since then, a longer distance than a flight from NYC to Barcelona. Below, a post-surgery pic and a few pics from runs since then in beautiful places.

@sebastianhahn it was about 3 months before I ran one mile (also consider I did both feet at once) and I did a half-marathon that spring. My recovery was slowed more due to getting long COVID in months after surgery, but in terms of my feet, I had less pain than pre-surgery within a few months.
