Please boost this to other mastodon.world users. We get several reports a day alleging a rule violation (e.g. no racism) but no actual post is included in the report. We do not have the resources to scroll through a user’s post history to try and locate the post that resulted in the report and so we close the report with no action. Please do report rule violations but ensure you link the offending post. Thanks. @ruud

@stevo @ruud if nothing else just screenshot the post & include it in a private post. That way the only people who will see the post are the admin & you.

@stevo I don’t know how to link to the offending post and above doesn’t give a method to do so;
in one of the comments, a screenshot was suggested;

one reason for not getting links is plain ignorance (like mine).

@feditips do you have any quick insights to help us properly report rule violations with links that @stevo can link to?
