Das<p>Partner had indicated a desire to taste fugu, so some sashimi in our apartment a day before we had to leave. Lovely crunchy texture &amp; flavor in these thin slices (with ponzu &amp; a bit of momiji oroshi - grated daikon+chili). The other thick cut skin &amp; cooked pieces were a bit tough more texture than flavor (imo).<br>Dinner of oven grilled miso pickled gindara (misnomer = black cod) - just so terrific! Das<p>Sure I can (and sure do - like the aji) pick up <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/sushi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sushi</span></a> at the grocery store - but with great ingredients it's sometimes great to be able make it at the apartment (mostly the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/rice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rice</span></a> for which I still prefer my seasoning - had to work on it with the different mizkan vinegar &amp; sugar, besides ricr here).<br>Sweet sweet scallops - sashimi &amp; nigiri and terrific ikura (tbh latter better than the stuff in the hotel buffet in Sapporo) for <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Dinner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dinner</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Food</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/AptCooking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AptCooking</span></a> (kind of)<br><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/DasInKobe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DasInKobe</span></a></p>
