Mike<p>After singing the praises of the NHS twice today - let's have a <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LocalAuthority" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LocalAuthority</span></a> fail</p><p>Mrs Mike's disabled bus pass is due for renewal. <br>The form sent to her by <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Leicestershire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leicestershire</span></a> County Council is confusing and long. Neither of us really understand what evidence they need.</p><p>Furthermore you can't upload a photo - it has to be a physical passport size photo.</p><p>She's given up and applied, in minutes, for an Old Person's Bus Pass - online form, uploaded photo, job done.</p><p>The only advantage of the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/disabled" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>disabled</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/BusPass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BusPass</span></a> is travel before 9.30am - which we never do.</p><p>This feels like discrimination against those with <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/disabilities" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>disabilities</span></a> but we've not got the spoons to fight.</p>
