Bill<p>Chibi-Robo may have been the start of my love of media with a blend of really funny, sometimes slapstick comedy and heartwarming earnestness that I would later go on to find in the works of Hideo Kojima and RGG Studio.<br>Characters in Chibi-Robo are wacky and find themselves in off-the-wall situations, but dramatic scenes are played straight with very little irony or tongue-in-cheek. It catches you off guard and enhances the emotion.<br><a href="https://youtu.be/m2vrYk0VQjE" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/m2vrYk0VQjE</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/VGMWednesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VGMWednesday</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ChibiRobo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ChibiRobo</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Gamecube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gamecube</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GCN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GCN</span></a></p>
