[Edit: Above is from Barbeau (1929) but Duff (1959) is more reliable. Gitanyow told him the figure is a woman named Will-a-Daugh. She birthed a grub-worm that destroyed her village & was killed. In despair she drowned herself. The crest is indeed a mother holding her child. @dillyd was correct.]

Culver died July 18, 2017, during an altercation with police. Last month, the #BCProsecutionService announced #manslaughter #charges against two #PrinceGeorge #RCMP officers related to his death.
