ordinoides<p>Teaching myself the ocarina is going well. I've almost memorized which fingering goes with which letter goes with which place on the musical staff. I can (slowly) play any song that stays on a single staff from lower C to upper F. <br>I practice when I think I'm alone, but nothing is guaranteed... apologies to anyone who heard me toot and warble "Red River Valley" Frere Jacques" and "Scarborough Fair" last night. <br>Also! I think I lucked out that the ocarina I bought at a toy store, modeled after the one from the Zelda game, is actually a tuned and playable instrument. Reading today that a lot of them are not, they are just props or toys.
