Jake in the desert<p>This week's <a href="https://c.im/tags/ThursDeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ThursDeath</span></a> is a new discovery from earlier this week, Boston's INHALEMENT. They have a few unmastered songs on a promo (also on Bandcamp) they put out this year ahead of a new LP that's coming soon. But this is their excellent EP from 2020, 'Eternally Stoned'-- a dynamic, riffy, chuggy piece of oldschool style death. This has some cool, unique spots throughout these four tracks. Jake in the desert<p>This week's <a href="https://c.im/tags/ThursDeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ThursDeath</span></a> is the excellent new death/doom LP 'Gore Furnace' by Montague, Massachusetts' WORMFACE. I've been listening to a lot of this. Released just last Friday, I'd been psyched for this one. It didn't disappoint. Eight grody tracks of sludgy, deathy riffage. Love the vocals. The drums.
