Spent my morning on this #WorldAmateurRadioDay doing a #morsecode cw #qrp #qrpradio #qcxmini #amateurradio #hamradio #pota #parksontheair activation at #beargrasscreekstatenaturepreserve US-7956 in Kentucky. Don't waste the day. Get on the air.

I don't know how or why but I just made 130 SSB QSO with EU on 40m as OQ0IARU. In one hour.
Why doesn't that happen when I do #cw?
#morsecode is therapeutical. SSB is plain work.

#hamradio is like fishing. I guess you need good bait.

I was in the shack and was notified that @N4JAW was on, but regrettably couldn't hear him. I did hear some peeps sending "CQ MST" — had to look that up, but it's what I would have thought it was. (I do SST regularly.)

Cranked-up the keyer WPM to 20, and logged one right at the end of the hour. But yeah, 20 WPM is a stretch for me.

I think it's 1.0 ready :)

Another tough day on the AmateurRadio #HamRadio #HF bands. But thanks to #MastodonHam J.C. @KC8JC started the morning off GREAT on 40 meters with this #POTA #parksontheiar #MorseCode CW #QSO at US-7956 Beargrass Creek State NAture Preserve Louisville, KY . USA

A microcontroller, some cables and a few lines of code. This is all it took to built a morse paddle to USB adapter. Using the App #didahdidahdit I can now train #morsecode on my phone (sending as well as listening).

I definitely need a better paddle.

I took several swings at 20 meters during today's #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #POTA #parksontheair CW #MorseCode activation. Struck out on all of them.

Tough day at the #POTA #parksontheair ballpark. Used the wrong bat #QCXMini 40/20. #Solarcycle25 24 #Aindex N4JAW 5 hits, no runs, no errors and many strikeouts. CW #MorseCode #AmateurRadio #HamRadio

My K1USN Slow Speed Test contacts for the night. I went at a relaxed pace. Most of my contacts were with Long Island CW Club members who get together and help new people out during the SST.

I went for a #POTA activation at #plantenunblomen today. The conditions for shortwave contacts were a little rough due to a magnetic storm. Still I managed to get 39 QSOs into the logbook. Worked SSB and CW.
