I already could achieve the first 22 of the 120 stars in the Luigi playthrough yesterday and the very most of them worked flawlessly. 💫

It seems like the harder controls of Luigi are still compensated yet by my experience and skills from the Mario playthrough. 🎮
Let's see how this develops during the upcoming, especially late game stars that are definitely harder to achieve. 📈

🌠 Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - 242 Stars

After finishing the 120 stars playthrough with Mario four months ago, now Luigi waits for the takeover to achieve all 242 stars.
Luigi can jump higher than Mario but has worse traction. He also runs slightly faster but takes longer to reach top speed.

Also using a patch to play with Wii Classic Pro Controller.

640x480 is one of the best resolutions because you can put it on a tiny display and its still readable.

you may notice that the aspect ratio ends up somewhat wider than 4:3. i managed to squeeze it a bit with the sync settings but its still more like 3:2.. not sure if i there are other settings i could try to fix it #OSSC

🐉 Final Fantasy X International (NTSC-J PS2)

As we are getting deeper into the story, the skill and battle systems develop and become more complex.
Still not defeated yet, but there are so many boss fights to come.

⚔️ Final Fantasy X International (NTSC-J PS2)

Starting into a new adventure with the completest version of the game on original hardware.
Checking out the OSSC Pro's motion adaptive deinterlacer of the new scaler mode.

In a couple of hours I will start into a long planned project: My imported NTSC-J version of Final Fantasy X International played in 60 Hz on my PAL PS2 with Matrix chip. 🇯🇵

The game and the interlaced picture of the PS2 in general were also the main reason for me buying an OSSC Pro. I set up the device for the game today and the motion adaptive deinterlacer of the new scaler mode produces a fine picture after some minor tweaks. ✨

Couple of days ago I received my #OSSC Pro to replace my regular OSSC. 🔄

The main reason for this upgrade is the Pro's new scaler mode including a motion adaptive deinterlacer.
Now the PS2's interlaced picture can be captured without flickering and in an overall much better quality. ✨

I will use the upcoming days to figure out all the functionalities and especially prepare to stream my NTSC-J version of #FinalFantasy X International on my PAL #PS2 with Matrix chip. 🐉

I am running the #PS2 I recently fixed up through my recently bought #OSSC.
I struggle to believe how good it looks, especially if the game supports progressive mode.

I took the occasion to finally play BLACK, and I'm finding it quite fun. My taste in FPS might be quite outdated though.
